After his encounters with the vampire, the cat, the crab, the snail, the monkey, and the snake, Koyomi Araragi is ready for anything. Anything, that is, except being kidnapped by his girlfriend Hitagi Senjougahara, who reveals that a dangerous con man named Deishuu Kaiki has arrived in town. When Araragi's sister Karen becomes the latest victim of Kaiki's schemes, Araragi is left with no choice but to confront this threat.

Later, Araragi's other sister Tsukihi is faced with a threat of her own. Two mysterious women whose knowledge and strength match that of Meme Oshino have set their sights on the young girl. The truth behind their sudden appearance may change Araragi's life forever.
